Fort Report: You're Invited

Apr 4, 2014

One of the best parts of the week in Washington is the opportunity to visit with Nebraskans. Just to name a few, the University of Nebraska Board of Regents stopped by this week; students from Milford, North Bend Central and Oakland Craig High Schools came to discuss our system of government and other issues with me; and Nebraska agriculture equipment dealers shared their perspective on tax issues before Congress. Even former Congressman Doug Bereuter came by the office.

It’s refreshing to visit with Nebraskans in Washington, however I recognize that not everyone has the chance to visit the Capitol. There are many important issues before Congress, and I’m very interested in hearing your perspective and thoughts.

I will be hosting open door meetings on Monday, April 14. If you’re interested in talking with me in person, I will be in my Lincoln office in the Cornhusker, 301 South 13th Street, Suite 100. To set up a time, please call my office at (402) 438-1598 and we will try to accommodate you.

Thanks for your interest. I hope to have the opportunity to see you!
